What Video Lab accesses

When the operator authorizes Google access, Video Lab may access basic YouTube account and channel information and may upload videos to the authorized YouTube channel. The requested access is limited to YouTube read-only information and YouTube upload capability.

How the data is used

Google-provided data is used only to verify the selected YouTube account, prepare supervised publishing actions, upload operator-approved videos, and confirm provider responses.

Storage and security

Video Lab runs locally on the operator's Windows computer. The OAuth refresh credential is stored outside project media data and protected with Windows Data Protection API encryption. Short-lived access tokens are refreshed as needed and supplied to the running process. This public website does not store Google account credentials or Video Lab project media.

Sharing and sale

Video Lab does not sell Google user data. Google account data obtained through OAuth is not shared with advertisers or data brokers.

Retention and revocation

Local OAuth credentials are retained until the operator removes them, reauthorizes the account, or revokes access through Google account settings. Revoking Google access prevents future token refresh and publishing until authorization is granted again.

Scope

Video Lab is currently a private operator tool rather than a public multi-user service. This policy describes the Google/YouTube integration used by that tool.
