Video Lab
Video Lab is a privately operated desktop media-production tool used to prepare and publish media to accounts controlled by its operator.
Google and YouTube access
Video Lab uses Google OAuth to connect to the operator's YouTube account. Access is limited to reading basic YouTube account/channel information and uploading videos when the operator explicitly approves a publish action.
Video Lab does not autonomously schedule or publish YouTube videos. Each external publish requires a separate supervised approval.
Local-first operation
The application runs on the operator's Windows computer. OAuth refresh credentials are stored locally using Windows Data Protection API encryption. Short-lived access tokens are loaded only when needed by the running application.
About this site
This site exists to provide public information required for Video Lab's OAuth configuration. It does not provide public account creation, cloud media storage, or a public Video Lab service.
